Welcome to 2nd grade with Mrs. Smith! Teaching is my favorite thing to do. I graduated from ECU with a BS in Elementary Education. This is my 20th year at Lee Woodard. I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade. My goal each school year is to create a safe space for students to learn and grow. When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family and my grandchildren. I also enjoy reading, trips with my husband, and teaching Sunday school at my church.
